This listing is for a complete set of wheels and tires for the new Maisto Chevrolet Tahoe in 1/24 (1/26) scale. These wheels are made to replace the factory wheels. The wheels that come on these models are from the top of the line model,which of course is not frequently used in law enforcement. The wheels I have designed are intended to replicate the lower trim levelOEM Chevrolet wheel, which can be found on a lot of unmarked Tahoe units. These wheels are 3D printed IN COLOR,so no painting is required. These come with their own tires as well – in order to get as close to the real thing as possible, I did not want to re-use the same large tire that came on the model, as this wheel is much smaller than the original wheel when talking about the real vehicle. They will come “mounted” but are easily removable. I would suggest gluing the tire to the wheel when installing, however,the fit is snug enough that they will not come apart on their own. My tires are relatively shiny, but I found that lightly sanding the surface dulls the finish to a more realistic/dirty tire look, so that is an option if you desire. These will NOT come sanded. Installation is fairly easy, but removing the old wheels can be difficult. If you do not plan to ever reuse them, it is easiest tojust cut the old wheel off of the axle. The new wheels can be pressed on and fit fairly snug as well. You can use glue to secure the wheel to the axle as well if you desire, but I have not found it to be required. My wheels do reuse the factory axles. Be sure to checkout my other listings for more parts, and other wheel options!
