The book is really old, which printed 93 years ago, but not modern reprint or more late re-edition. В СССР официальная карикатура служила политическим целям: борьбе с внешним врагом – капитализмом и с внутренними отдельными моральными недостатками общества строителей социализма, высмеивая тунеядство, пьянство, прогулы и тому подобное. В Советском Союзе существовало разделение карикатуры на жанры — шарж, политика, злоба дня, портрет, хотя сама карикатура не была официально признана. Борис Ефимов, один из протагонистов карикатуры, полагал, что всякая карикатура в СССР была политической, а потому подразделялась лишь на две категории – для внутреннего употребления и международного. Карикатура в СССР, была в первую очередь плакатная. Ещё в годы Гражданской войны Моор зарекомендовал себя в плакатной карикатуре, в частности, широко известна его работа “Ты записался добровольцем?”, а также серия карикатур, направленных на врагов Советской власти и чуждые советскому духу явления: Белое движение, Антанта, религия и т.д. Широко известны карикатурные агитплакаты первых лет советской эпохи в 1919—1921 гг. «Окна РОСТА», в работе над которыми участвовали: М. М. Черемных В. В. In the USSR, the official caricature served political purposes: the fight against an external enemy – capitalism and with individual internal moral shortcomings of the society of the builders of socialism, ridiculing parasitism, drunkenness, truancy and the like. In the Soviet Union, there was a division of cartoons into genres – caricature, politics, the topic of the day, portrait, although the caricature itself was not officially recognized. Boris Efimov, one of the protagonists of the caricature, believed that any caricature in the USSR was political, and therefore was divided into only two categories – for domestic use and international. Caricature in the USSR was primarily a poster. Back in the years of The Civil War, Moor established himself in poster caricature, in particular, his work “Have you volunteered?” Is widely known, as well as a series of cartoons aimed at enemies of Soviet power and phenomena alien to the Soviet spirit: the White movement, Antanta, religion, etc. .d. Caricature propaganda posters of the first years of the Soviet era in 1919-1921 are widely known. “Okna ROSTA”, in the work on which participated: M. M. Cheremnykh V. V.
