The card itself, by being manufactured by the licensed trading card company and cited as being authentic serves as it’s very own COA Certificate of Authenticity, coupled by Beckett Grading Services (BGS) both grading and authenticating that the card has not been altered nor restored and is original as manufactured, produced and distributed by the card company. These cards are known as “Game Used Jersey” cards in the Sports Card hobby. With cards from real life celebrities in film or television, they’re often referred to as “Relic” cards or “Memorabilia” cards or “Costume Cards” as they feature a piece of actual and authentic clothing or costume material worn by the actor depicted on the card from the movie, featured in the film, so is considered a “screen worn” or “screen used” prop card. These are great collectibles and conversation pieces. They’re typically rare, elusive “chase” cards, inserted randomly into packs of cards, typically one or a few per box or case, so are highly sought after. The costume cards are typically “thicker” than a standard card because they feature an actual piece of clothing on the card, embedded securely. This usually makes it harder to find these cards in high grades, as they’re easily damaged just in the printing and production process as they’re packaged. So, what I did was submit a lot of these cards to BGS, Beckett Grading Services, the premiere trading card grading and authentication company, and the cards which earned the highly prized 9.5 Gem Mint grade, I’ve decided to sell on eBay via Auction in February 2021 as individual cards. The grading process at BGS is currently approx $25 and up just to grade and encapsulate a trading card, plus other overhead expenses of not only the card itself, but shipping and handling/processing fees at Beckett. So, in today’s card market, any graded card typically carries a value of at least $30 over what a comparable raw (ungraded) card would sell for. This card comes exactly as you see it in the photos.
