Sunpak auto 2000DZ – you’ll find these at Wal-mart and some of the other stores that have some camera accessories. They retail for about $69.95+ tax This is a tilt and pivot flash, capable of bouncing the flash. This is an ok flash, better than most ‘on camera flashes’ – especially for Point & Shoots, and those cameras with built in flashes that don’t effectively go more than 5 or 10 feet. This flash will reach out about 30 to 50 feet without much problem, and is UNIVERSAL (so it will work on most any camera with a hot shoe). It’s a good beginner flash. I honestly don’t know where or how this ended up in our stuff. I’m guessing it was it was either given to me in a bag with the other camera gear I actually purchased, or that it was picked up as an emergency flash for some shoot by one of the second shooters (which means I paid for it by proxy, and just don’t remember it). Either way, it’s been sitting for at least two years… powers on and works fine on a quick test. ********************** The venue we shot at for over 6 years sold in November (2017), and we frankly don’t like, trust, or respect the new owner… so, at nearly 60 years old, my wife and I decided to retire (at least from that venue). We’d shot hundreds of concerts, thousands of musicians and celebrities over the years, and were frankly a tad burnt out from all that work… 1, 2, 3 times a week, about 40 to 50 weeks a year. So we’ll eventually be listing a whole lot of awesome gear. Our loss, your gain.
