Jumbo victorian parlor lamp with vibrant colors….while not marked such, made by Fostoria Lamp & Glass c. 1900….measures 22″ to the top of the shade, with the shade alone measuring a full 11″ tall….excellent, clean condition….I cleaned the glass inside and out and snipped the old electrical wires….you will need to rewire or replace the font altogether….brass kerosene font was drilled when electrified many years ago….tin font liner has a soldered appendage on the bottom for the purpose of adding a light socket (16th photo)….a shallow flake along the inner edge of the ground opening on top of the shade from knocking against the chimney (9th photo)….shade has the usual minor roughness and flakes from the original manufacture and 100+ years of display (10th, 11th photos)….lower glass globe has a flake along the bottom fitter edge (17th, 18th, 19th photos), however I found it inside and reattached it with a little tacky glue (22nd, 23rd photos)….it is completely hidden by brass connector/transition ring (20th, 21st photos)….no heat/chimney ring on the shade, however it never had one originally, as was the case with many Fostoria lamps….no chimney….please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
