The duck head is not included on this auction. this is a FULLY WELDED kit. 5 business days handling time. (Business days do not include weekends or holidays). We try to get them mailed as soon as I can. This is primarily a weekend operation for me. No! these are not made in china. I make each one right here in Texas. And 90% of the time I am using USA Steel. On the off chance my supplier does not have US Steel I use Mexico steel and it’s pretty good stuff ( I couldn’t tell the difference if it wasn’t printed on the stock)! But I don’t use over seas steel at any time. We have a 5 business day turnaround. Business days do not include holidays or weekends. The tracking information will update mid morning on the day it’s going to ship, and it gets dropped at the airport post office the same evening. The first pic is what you are receiving (not the EXACT one you are receiving Its a stock picture). Also these pics are a little old. The design has been slightly modified based on customer feedback.You will be receiving three pieces (with grade 8 hardware) that make the cruddy Harbor Freight tire changer work like a manual powered modern machine of awesomeness. I do not supply the red duck head in this auction— you can find them cheap enough on Ebay! This is set up for the red “hunter style” two bolt duck head. Due to supply chain issues there may be variations in the length of the grade 8 bolts as well as the color of the primer. However i will use the most quality parts and components available. Now with x and y axis tension adjustment bolts! A quick note on how to use this! The thicker 11 gauge tubing is smaller than the tire changer bar that harbor freight supplies… instead of trying to place your bar in the smaller tube have a look at the last pic for how to leverage the rubber on and off the rim. Th is pic comes from a you tube video, and this is a safe method of spinning the duck head around the rim. The harbor freight manual tire changer is not horrible, it just takes previous experience to actually work. I’m no good at changing tires on it without this tool . once you try it this way its actually pretty fun. Use plenty of lube or soapy water and it is much much easier. The fifth and sixth pics are what it looks like assembled with the duck head. The duck head is the red part. This does not come with the duck head, there are plenty of duck heads on eBay for sale separately or I offer this with a duck head and hardware in my other listing. The fifth pic is assembled on the harbor freight tire changer pedestal (sold separately). This is also an earlier pic from an earlier auction.. the one you are buying has the thicker metal 11 gauge and x and y axis adjustment. Buyer pays shipping. Shipping is only here in the US in the USPS if it fits it ships box.. If you are far far away my apologies I cant afford to ship it to you and I’ll refund the transaction. But I do ship to the 50 US states including Hawaii…. Many of you are asking and the ID of the main pipe is approx 2 1/8” or approx 53.5mm . Now with grade 8 zinc coated 3/4 hardware. The pipe is thick, Thicker than it looks. There is a pic of the standard Harbor Freight pipe that holds the rim on the changer. It looks like 16 gauge to me (Thinner than 11 gauge). This adapter fits over that red pipe. The arm that holds the 90 Degree drop down is also 11 gauge. The 90 Degree drop down is also 11 gauge. The earlier ones I sold were thinner, so I upgraded. Yes.. I know the welds are elementary… this is farm boy welding, not harbor freight welding.. not aerospace welding… the welds have good penetration. This works with the red duck head with two bolt holes as shown in the pictures. This is sold as a kit and you are free to modify it to work with whatever you like! The duck head is called the “Hunter” style and I have attached a few pics of what it looks like. Notice that it is held on with two small bolts… that’s the kind you want for this adapter. I try to ship asap but there can be up to a five business day delay because life happens. I do try to ship as soon as possible. Manual Tire Changer Swing Arm Mod with out Duck Head / Duckbill Demount This kit will allow you to adapt a duck head to work on your harbor freight tire changer. The duck bill is not included. This is a kit and may require some modification. It is home made the welds are ugly but they are complete . It will do the job surprisingly well. It can do a 20” wheel.I have a larger version available in a separate auction if you need to go larger, but most folks use this model. If you have any questions or want further pics please ask. Primed (etching primer) (just a protective coating). The last pics are typical welds we make. Some are better and some are not as better but they all are solid welds. Some distortion may be present in the welds that hold on the grade 8 zinc coated hardware. This has to do with several factors but we try to keep it in line. tire changer duck bill modification kit.
