eBay FIRES ON THE OREGON TRAIL PRINT, BY TOM LOVELL, 1981, HAND-SIGNED AND NUMBERED, LIMITED EDITION (#259/1000) 22×26-1/2″ OFFSET LITHOGRAPH, WITH A 19×23″ IMAGE AREA, IN PRISTINE MINT CONDITION. ALSO INCLUDED IS A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL GREENWICH WORKSHOP NEW RELEASE CARD (NRC) AND A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT (SEE LAST PHOTOS). PART OF THE GREENWICH WORKSHOP WESTERN AMERICAN HERITAGE SERIES OF WESTERN PRINTS– MANY OF WHICH WE CARRY. WE ALSO CARRY MANY OF THEIR NAUTICAL AND WILDLIFE PRINTS. Purchased new from the distributor in 1981, at wholesale along with several others, never framed or displayed and stored in our darkened warehouse since, the print is still in PRISTINE MINT condition, with Bright, Lustrous, completely UN-faded colors. NOTE: PLUS OURS, WHILE MAYBE PRICED A BIT HIGHER, HAVE NEVER BEEN FRAMED OR EXPOSED TO LIGHT, HAVING BEEN STORED IN OUR DARKENED WAREHOUSE THE ENTIRE TIME– OVER FOUR (4) DECADES– SO, UNLIKE PRINTS OFFERED BY OTHERS, OURS ARE PRISTINE NEW, NEVER FRAMED OR DISPLAYED, PERFECTLY MINT CONDITION AND TOTALLY UN-FADED ! We stored the prints in steel map cases in our darkened warehouse, but stored the Print Folders and shipping boxes in our storage unit, which unfortunately caught fire and everything was destroyed. We do have authentic, original, Hand-Signed prints that were signed by the artist immediately after publication. We have also provided the Original Greenwich Workshop New Release card (“NRC”), which gives all the particulars of the print/artist/limitation, and a copy the Original Purchase Receipt, showing what we paid for the print decades ago — to further authenticate the print.
